Research into Tax and Regulatory Policy in Ireland to Encourage Greater Philanthropy
Philanthropy Ireland and the Irish Charities Tax Research Group commissioned FGS Consulting to carry out research on tax and regulatory policy relating to charitable and philanthropic giving in Ireland in August 2008. The report was launched in September 2009.

Charitable Fundraising in an Economic Downturn
Irish Charities Tax Research and The Ireland Funds have collaborated with the Centre for Nonprofit Management Trinity College in conducting the first annual survey into Income and Fundraising by Irish Charities. The survey was carried out in February 2009 and the report was launched in May 2009.
The key finding is that 75% of charities expect a significant increase in demand for services while 64% expect an equally significant reduction in funding from all sources.
